Hi my name is David Callaway. I'm currently 27 years old. I have been playing golf now since I was about 13 years old. My first love was rugby but after a few injuries it turned to golf. By the age of 19 I was off scratch, and received a golf scholarship to Mcneese State University, South West Louisiana, USA. I attended University here for 4 years graduating with a degree in Business Management and Marketing. Over the 4 years I played 45 collegiate golf tournaments with my best finish - Tied 1 st. I finished in the top 10 thirteen times and top 20 twenty times. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Mcneese; experienced another countries cultures and made many friends there.

At the end of 2005 I decided to give golf my fullest attention. I decided to turn professional in March 2006 and play full time golf. Since making my decision to turn pro I have worked very hard on my game with my coach Paul Creamer (Milford Golf Club Tel: 01483 416291), and have also worked hard on my fitness and strength. I am also currently working towards my PGA qualification at Milford G.C.and epresent Milford G.C.
